What’s going on?
What a week! Political changes here in the UK, ongoing war scenarios, potential jet fuel shortages mentioned in the media, and then there’s the matter of technology problems at airports around Europe…
I may have a new passport, but it may only be used as ID over here for the rest of this year until those pesky technology problems are sorted out soon (or if we decide to head to Greece or the Greek Islands).
We will however be saving some cash by staying in or around the UK as we won’t be needing € or travel insurance (apart from on one potential visit on not so foreign shores where repatriation cover is required…).
Which gives uplenty of time to sort out plans for 2027!

Yes, back again and (technology permitting!), there will be more posts from next week…
It’s just under a year since I retired and there have been quite a few trips undertaken since then.
Scotland, Suffolk, Norfolk, Chester & Liverpool, London, Margate, Bath, London and York have all been visited and there are plans afoot for more visits in the coming months.
